2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China. The Thailand-China Film Television and Entertainment Industry Communication and Cooperation Association was established in 2025 with the aim of promoting multi - level and wide - ranging communication and cooperation among film and television companies, platforms, talents, and relevant government departments in Thailand and China, so as to achieve the beautiful vision of experience sharing, resource complementary, and collaborative development, and inject strong impetus into the vigorous development of the film and television industries of the two countries. The Thailand - China Film and Television Communication and Cooperation Forum held at Filmart will announce the work objectives and service content of the association to public; welcome the participation of media practitioners; and discuss potential cooperation projects. At the same time, the first Thailand - China Short Drama Awards will be presented at the forum, aiming to promote the creation of more excellent drama works and attract more talents to participate in Thailand - China film and television cooperation projects.

China Film Presentation showcases the ecosystem of China’s film market from a multidimensional perspective. It authoritatively releases domestic Spring Festival data, highlights the Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival, and invites industry leaders to decode the success formulas behind the Detective Chinatown, Sheep Without a Shepherd, YAO-Chinese Folktales, and Made in YIWU series. These technologies enhance production efficiency while enabling greater flexibility and precision in visual effects.

The global vertical short drama market is projected to surpass $10 billion. At this event, Content Republic will unveil its vertical short drama strategy and share breakthrough cases from its self-developed short drama app. The founder will analyze industry trends and initiates global talent programs and content IP plans, aiming to co-create a new ecosystem for vertical short dramas.

The Guangdong Pavilion serves as a platform for the external exhibition, sales, dissemination, and exchange cooperation of Guangdong's film and television industry. GBA Youth Film Productions Promotion is part of the FUTURE GBA Youth Film & TV Development Initiatives. Through trailers and presentations, the event aims to demonstrate the vibrant creativity of Guangdong's film industry, further promoting interaction and cooperation between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the global film industry, and jointly exploring new horizons and development opportunities.

Phoenix TV and the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) will jointly host the UK-China Screen Forum during the Hong Kong FILMART. This initiative aims to enhance dialogue and exchange between the film and television industries of China and the UK, further deepening collaborative projects. The forum will feature a UK delegation led by the DBT, including representatives from the British Film Institute (BFI), UK Film Export, and BBC Studios. They will announce significant UK-China collaborative projects and engage in discussions with their Chinese counterparts about cooperation opportunities and future visions. Intellectual Property (IP) is a term that professionals in the industry often encounter in contracts. Since IP is accessible, have we effectively utilized resources to cultivate this domain? Adaptations, prequels, sequels, and spin-offs can be a vertical development of an IP, while horizontal development involves expanding the IP into different media, such as novels, comics, theater plays, and even merchandise, turning it into another form of product. This approach also connects the entire creative industry chain, maximizing returns for investors. The 7th Edition of “Jackie Chan Project A for Films” – Special Announcement will provide a comprehensive overview of the program’s latest developments and advancements. It will also introduce and grant honors to eight selected projects from this edition’s Open Pitch event, while outlining plans for the upcoming eighth edition.
