COMPANY PROFILEA House Film Production is a Taiwan-based company co-founded by Etsen Chen and Brendan Huang, dedicated to the development of short films, feature films, and series. Its debut project, Damp (2025, New York Asian Film Festival), is a Taiwan-Korea co-production that also serves as a proof of concept for their feature film No Money No Honey, currently in development.
Etsen Chen is a graduate of the Busan Asian Film Academy and Taipei National University of the Arts. His short film The Younger (2015), which won Best Fiction Short at the Golden Harvest Awards, has been showcased at numerous LGBTQ+ film festivals. His co-directed short Lipstick (2019) premiered at the Busan International Film Festival.
Brendan Huang, a Busan Asian Film School (AFiS) alumnus, is a Taiwanese producer with a background in literature and cultural studies. He began his career as a production coordinator on various international co-productions, and later served as associate producer on In the Belly of a Tiger (Berlinale Forum 2024) and co-producer of the Taiwan-Italy feature Deep Quiet Room (Golden Horse 2025)
