The HKU's School of Future Media is for a new generation of storytellers who will shape the evolving media world.
Established in October 2025, with the support of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, we combine the Journalism and Media Studies Centre, the new Documentary and AI Filmmaking Division, and the Global Creative Industries Division.
This powerful combination allows us to offer an education unlike any other: a deep commitment to factual reporting, fused with practical, forward-looking training in the technologies redefining how stories are created, told, discovered, and experienced.
